Intergalatic cuteness! Attaboy @ 1AM gallery SF

"Attaboy, also known as Daniel Seifert and co-founder of Hi-Fructose magazine, presents “Antidote”, a solo show at 1:AM SF gallery. This will be his first solo exhibition in SF since 2001. The show will include recent works that represent a swarm of his latest art in unlikely mediums. His imagination has been carved out by intricate detailed stencil paintings on plastic that project shadows, hyper-unrealistic color pencil drawings, hand painted resin cast sculptures, and an infestation of fungus style paintings. In addition, he will display a five piece plastic sculpture installation from the sculptor J.Shea.As if that was not enough, it would not be an Attaboy exhibition without his signature Gooberry. He will be bringing his popular plush toy with enhancements… pull a string and it talks. Gooberry squeaks in pain when you squeeze her pinchers, and cowers in fear from your every snuggle!"

Attaboy's solo show was stellar! Lots of supercute outer-spacey slighty scary alien-like creatures. Attaboy's use of acrylic on plastic gives his pieces a multi-deminsional look that make for some way cool shadows. The show will be running through September 5 and is def worth a looky-loo!
